About ProjectForce integration with Windows applications

ProjectForce integrates with many popular Windows applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; and AutoCAD. Many ProjectForce features are available through these integrations, which means that you do not have to switch frequently between the applications and ProjectForce in order to manage your documents.

From these applications you can run the following actions:

• Adding documents to SharePoint
• Creating, removing, and renaming folders
• Executing searches

From within ProjectForce, all actions can be performed and most actions can be applied to multiple documents. From within integrated applications, actions can only be performed on one document. The Microsoft Office Import command, for example, will have the same result as the ProjectForce Import command, but only for one document at a time.
